Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale, this series narrates all the misfortunes and adventures of the most famous duck in history as he meets new friends.　　When the ugly duckling hatches in Mother Duck's nest by mistake, everybody thinks he's the ugliest duckling around. 故事讲述了龙山地区接连发生两桩命案，在社会上引起巨大反响，百姓惶惶不安，警方压力剧增，随即成立“118”大案专案组，正副组长分别由主管刑侦的副局长李辉和刑警队长郭明担任。还有十多天就要退休的李辉，决心在退休前拿下这个案子，给自己从事了一辈子的刑警事业画上一个圆满的句号。但是，两桩看似毫无联系的命案背后，隐藏着一个精心设计的阴谋，案情迷雾重重。新老刑警冰释前嫌联手侦破，最终迷雾消散。
